Arrests made in Mount Morris School Burglary

The Mount Morris Police Department and Livingston County Sheriff’s Office would like to announce the arrest of four individuals associated with a burglary to the Mount Morris Central School. The burglary took place on October 27, 2012 at approximately 10:15 PM. The suspects entered the school through a window. The suspects then moved through the school looking for unlocked doors. They were able to steal and vandalize property valued at approximately $10,000.00. The suspects were caught on camera and quickly recognized by Officer Jeremey Blair. The suspects were then located at the Greenway Motel just outside the village. At that time a large portion of the stolen goods were recovered. Suspects Davin Bonner DOB 3/4/92, and Cameron Hansen D.O.B. 1/10/93 were then interviewed by Major Matthew Burgess and Chief Ken Mignemi. As a result they were later arrested by Officer Melody Moore and Officer Jeremey Blair. Both were charged with Burglary 3rd, Criminal Mischief 4th, Grand Larceny 4th, and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property. 4th. They are both currently being held in Livingston County Jail on $5,000.00 cash or $10,000.00 bond.

As the investigation continued Marquis Morris DOB 7/3/88 and Belinda Moulthrop DOB 3/28/90 were arrested for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd. Morris and Moulthrop purchased stolen items that belonged to the school, from Hansen and Bonner. The property was later recovered by Livingston County Investigators Brian Applin and Ron Huff in the city of Rochester. Morris was subsequently arraigned and is currently being held in the Livingston County Jail on $2500.00 cash or $5,000.00 bond. Moulthrop was R.O.R.’d

Chief Ken Mignemi would like to credit these arrests to the joint efforts of his department and the Livingston County Sheriff and the excellent team work between the departments. Also assisting in the investigation were Livingston County Sheriff’s Deputy Chad VanAuken and Officer Jacob Zangerle.
