McMullen resigns as principal position after nearly two years of paid suspension

ALLEGANY — Suspended Allegany-Limestone Middle School Principal Timothy McMullen, who had been on paid suspension for nearly two years, had his case resolved during a special school board meeting this week.
A press release stated that the school district and McMullen agreed to resolve the disposition of the charges brought against him. The district said this was accomplished “through mutually agreed terms rather than formal proceedings under New York Education law section 3020-A.”
The press release also stated that the district entered into the agreement for economic and business reasons, and McMullen had entered it for personal and family reasons.
A message left by the Times Herald with McMullen’s family members on Tuesday was not returned
