On April 18, 2013, the Wyoming County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 35 Dolbeer Street in the Village of Perry. Officers arrested Nicholas J. Thomson age 24 who resides at 35 Dolbeer Street for Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the third degree a class B Felony. In February 2013 Thomson allegedly sold Heroin to an Undercover agent which led to this search warrant.
Also arrested during the search warrant were: Zachary T. Granger age 19 from Oatka Rd. in Warsaw. Granger was arrested for Criminal Possession of a Control Substance 5th a class D Felony. Granger was allegedly found to be in possession of suspected cocaine and marijuana.
Also arrested during the search was Derek A. May age 25 from Beechwood Ave. in Castile. May was arrested for Criminal Possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree a class A Misdemeanor.
Officers said they found 4 firearms, 2 were loaded, 75 bags of suspected Heroin, 2 bags of suspected cocaine, miscellaneous prescription pills, a large amount of drug paraphernalia, a small amount of cash and two rooms containing indoor marijuana growing operations with numerous plants being at different stages of cultivation. Further charges are pending on all three individuals. All three were arraigned in the Village of Perry Court. Thomson was committed to the Wyoming County Jail on $25,000. Granger was committed on $2500 and May was committed on $1000 all will return to the Village of Perry Court at a later date.
The Wyoming County Drug Task Force consists of members of the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office, Arcade, Attica , Perry and Warsaw Police Departments. The Task Force was assisted by Uniform Officers from the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office and Perry Police Department.
