Major Drug Bust Today In Wellsville UPDATED WITH MUG SHOTS



 A joint narcotics investigation that began in 2012 and centered in the Village of Wellsville has resulted in the arrest of 11 individuals on various drug related charges.

The joint investigation is the product of the cooperative efforts of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, The Village of Wellsville Police Department, the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET) and the Allegany County Probation Department.

Over 30 law enforcement officers, divided into 10 teams, spread across the area today executing indictment warrants and local criminal court arrest warrants charging the defendants with the possession and sale of various controlled substances including heroin and prescription medications.

Arrested today were the following individuals:
Note: CSCS means criminal sales of a controlled substance. CPCS means criminal possession of a controlled substance.
HEIDI A. FURMAN, 27,  82 Jefferson St. Wellsville arrested on an Allegany County Grand Jury Indictment warrant for 2 counts of CSCS 4th and CPCS 5th for selling prescription medications.


TERI M. STANTON, 40,  109 Madison St. Wellsville  arrested on an Allegany County Grand Jury Indictment warrant for 1 count of CSCS 3rd and CPCS 3rd for the sale of morphine and 1 count CSCS 5th and CPCS 5th for the sale of prescription medications


TERRAH BUDINGER, 33,   3754 Riverside Dr. Scio arrested summarily for 2 counts CSCS 4th and CPCS 5th for selling prescription medications and additionally charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 3rd , Criminal Possession of Precursors of Methamphetamine and Unlawful Disposal of Methamphetamine Laboratory Materials 

VALERIE GREGG, 50,  1742 Hilton-Parma Corner, Spencerport, NY arrested on a Village of Wellsville Court warrant for 2 counts of CSCS 3rd and CPCS 3rd for the sale of morphine.


HERMAN FOLWELL, 51, 223 Glide St. Rochester, NY arrested on a Village of Wellsville Court warrant for 1 count of CSCS 3rd and CPCS 3rd for the sale of morphine.

BRENDA MATSON, 50, 2825 State Rte 417 Wellsville arrested on a Village of Wellsville Court warrant for 1 count of CSCS 3rd and CPCS 3rd for the sale of prescription medication

NATHAN M. SHAVER,21,  1 Brooklyn Ave. Wellsville arrested on an Allegany County Grand Jury Indictment warrant for 2 counts of CSCS 3rd and CPCS 3rd for the sale of heroin.

AMANDA BOWKER, 26, State Rte 417 Allentown, NY arrested on an Allegany County Grand Jury Indictment warrant for 2 counts of CSCS 3rd and CPCS 3rd for the sale of heroin and prescription medications

WILLIE BANKS, 61, 100 East State St. Wellsville arrested on a Village of Wellsville Court warrant for 2 counts of CSCS 3rd and CPCS 3rd for the sale of heroin.

Additionally charged after arrest with CPCS 7th (heroin) and UPM (Unlaw Poss Marihuana) based on contraband found in his possession at the time of arrest.

ANGELINE PALMITER, 29,  1727 State Rte 248A Whitesville, NY arrested on a Village of Wellsville Court warrant for 2 counts of CSCS 4th and CPCS 5th for the sale of prescription medications.

SPENSER A.A.  CLARK, 25,  4930 Gordon Brook Rd. Scio, NY arrested and charged with Unlaw Poss of Marihuana (UPM) based on contraband found while he was at the residence of BRENDA MATSON.

Also assisting in the arrest sweep in addition to members of the Wellsville Police Dept., SRDTF, CNET and Allegany County Probation Dept. were Uniform and BCI members of the New York State Police stationed at Amity and members of the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office.

  4. Save our children-Get them druggies all off the streets and out of our town. Wish I went to school for the line of work to catch them. I hear its all around Wellsville. School kids are going to these places after getting out. If they have a backpack they probably have drugs in it-kids and suppliers. I hope theres cops at the school to see if anyone suspicious is hanging out waiting for our kids.

This is a sad assed backwards town,,,and where I don't think Meth or Heroin is any good...the only reason anyone would want to be high around here is because it's soooo damn boring and backwards...u all need therapy for chronic hillbilly disease

  6. What about all the drunks driving away from " better" days and hamars. Cops don't seem to care about any of them. Drunk on the sidewalks, drunk on the road. It's sickening to even go downtown anymore.
