Cattaraugus County woman faces felony counts

On January 28, 2016 at 5:38 p.m., Troopers arrested Jacquelyn A. McCord, 25, of Little Valley, NY for Driving While Intoxicated with a prior DWI (E Felony), Leandra’s Law DWI (E Felony), Aggravated Unlicensed Operator 1st (E Felony) and having equipment violations. 
McCord was stopped on State Route 242 in the Town of Machias for equipment violations.  While interviewing McCord, police said an odor of alcoholic beverage was detected.  McCord was giving field tests and failed, police said.  McCord also had a nine month old child in the back seat of the vehicle.  McCord had a suspended drivers license.  McCord was arrested and taken to SP Machias for processing.  McCord recorded a .13% BAC. 
McCord was arraigned at the Town of Machias Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $500 cash/$1,000 Bond.
