Almond: 7-11 robber gets probation

The man who robbed the 7-11 store in Almond several months ago has received probation. In Allegany County court Monday, Judge Terry Parker sentenced Aaron R. Withrow, 20, Short Tract to five years probation after he pleaded guilty to felony robbery. He was also sent to a half-way house for treatment. Prosecutors said that Withrow was armed with a knife when he demanded money from the cash drawer during the September 2015 robbery.
