A Bolivar man who possessed and sold morphine has been sentenced to jail. Prosecutors said Michael S. McDonald, 35, of Second Street, sold the drug last year to a Confidential Informant with the Drug Task Force. The crime happened in the town of Genesee. In court Monday morning, McDonald was sentenced to six months in the Allegany County Jail. He must also serve five years probation and make $110 in restitution. District Attorney Keith Slep said McDonald pleaded guilty to two felony counts this morning.
