Livingston County Sheriff says stay off the roads

LIVINGSTON COUNTY-   Sheriff Thomas J. Dougherty authorizes and issues a No Unnecessary Travel warning for Livingston County roadways until further notice.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office has received and handled numerous vehicles off the roadway and motor vehicle crashes due to the snow covered roads.
No Unnecessary Travel means that hazardous driving conditions exist and no unnecessary travel is recommended. This restriction is not mandatory and is left to the traveling public to decide their comfort zone on the roadways, however, if it is essential to travel, do so with caution in considering the changing weather conditions.
