Obituary: Daryl J. Feuchter, 65, Cuba native

PORTVILLE — Daryl J. Feuchter of 1338 Lillibridge Road, Portville, died Tuesday (Feb. 16, 2016) in Buffalo General Hospital after a brief illness. Born on Dec. 2, 1950, in Cuba, he was a son of Joseph and Guyla Benham Feuchter. On June 12, 1976, in Cuba, he married the former Suzanne Willover, who survives. A lifelong resident of the area, he was a graduate of Portville Central School, class of 1968, and Alfred Agriculture Technology. Daryl was employed at Cooper Power Systems for 33 years and at North Pro before retiring. He had worked and enjoyed his small farm since childhood.  In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Jamie Feuchter of Williamsville; a son, Kyle Feuchter of Portville; a brother, Gary (Gail) Feuchter of Olean; a sister, Gail Oakly of Olean; along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father. At Daryl’s request, there will be no visitation or services. Burial will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Portville. Memorial donations may be made to Joyful Rescues, 1319 Turock Drive, Cuba, NY 14727; or the Portville Volunteer Fire Department. Arrangements are under the direction of Guenther Funeral Home Inc., Portville.
