Steuben County fire victim identified: David O'Dell

David Nelson O'Dell, 60, of 9458 New Galen Road, passed away Monday (February 15, 2016) of injuries sustained in a house fire.
Born in Hornell, September 24, 1955, the son of Robert and Frances Cone O'Dell, he had resided in the Cohocton area since 1969.
He was predeceased by his parents and his brother James O’Dell.
He is survived by three sisters, Christine Sutherland of Tennessee, Phyllis Reamer of Bath and Laurie Mills of Bath, three brothers, Robert (Mrytle) O’Dell of Bath, Phillip (Peggy) O’Dell of Bath, and Arthur (Sheila) O’Dell of California, his best friend Joe (Iryn) Meyers and the entire Meyers family of the town of Wayland.

The family will be present to receive friends on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at the Bender - Brown & Powers Funeral Home, 354 Canisteo St, Hornell from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. where Funeral services will be held following calling hours at 4:00 p.m. Pastor Rob Parker will officiate. Burial will be in Loon Lake Cemetery, Town of Wayland.
