Wellsville Police Blotter

Wellsville Police, with assistance from the Allegany County Probation Department, arrested Jonathan D. Prescott, age 24 of Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B Felony), Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th and Criminal Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument.  The charges stem from an incident that took place on East State Street in the Village of Wellsville.  Prescott was processed and arraigned before acting Wellsville Village Judge Ames.  Prescott was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $10,000.00 cash bail $20,000.00 property bond.  Prescott is due back in Wellsville Village Court at a later date.

Wellsville Police arrested Jeremiah S. Pizarro, age 23 of Scio, charging him with two counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th.  The charges stem from an incident that took place in September of 2015.  Pizarro, who is currently incarcerated at the Allegany County Jail, was processed and arraigned before acting Wellsville Village Judge Ames.  Pizarro was returned to the Allegany County Jail.  Pizarro is due back in Wellsville Village Court at a later date.

Following investigations into the alleged illegal sale of narcotics in the Village of Wellsville conducted by the Wellsville Police Department, the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and New York State Police C-Net, the following individuals were arrested:

Dane T. Coats, age 26 of Wellsville, charging him with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B Felony) and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B Felony).  Coats, who is currently incarcerated at the Allegany County Jail, was processed and arraigned before acting Wellsville Village Judge Ames.  Coats was returned to the Allegany County Jail.

Lisa M. Jackson, age 54 of Wellsville, charging her with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B Felony) and two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B Felony).  Jackson was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Judge O’Connor on February 9th.  Jackson was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 property bond.  Jackson is due back in Wellsville Village Court at a later date.
