Wyoming County Sheriff: Perry woman threatened police with golf club

Pamela G. Hardison, 61, of Perry was arrested Thursday after being indicted by a Wyoming County Grand Jury for Felony Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.  Following the indictment, Wyoming County Court issued a warrant for Hardison’s arrest.  Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office and Perry Police Department on Thursday executed the warrant at Hardison’s residence on Hope Street in the Village of Perry.  Hardison was seen inside screaming at officers and refusing to allow them in, deputies said.  Officers gained entry through a window and located Hardison inside holding a golf club.  Officers were able to get the golf club away from Hardison, and Hardison then allegedly resisted officers while they placed her in custody.  Hardison was additionally charged with Resisting Arrest.  Hardison was held in the Wyoming County Jail without bail, and she was scheduled to appear in the Wyoming County Court during next week’s session.  Hardison was also scheduled to appear in the Village of Perry Court on February 24, 2016 to answer the charge of Resisting Arrest.
