Allegany County: Three charged with heroin & cocaine possession during traffic stop


Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney reports that following an investigation during a traffic stop on County Route 17 in the Town of Friendship on March 18, 2016, the following suspects were arrested  after cocaine, heroin, Twenty-Five (25) hypodermic instruments and drug paraphernalia were allegedly located inside the motor vehicle:
- Matthew D. Brewer, Age 39 of 3240 Wolf Creek Road, Cuba for (2) Counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd, criminally using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree and (22) Counts of Criminally Possessing a Hypodermic Instrument.

- Sherrie L. Moore, Age 36 of 4722 Castle Garden Road, Friendship for (2) Counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd, Criminally using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree, (25) Counts of Criminally Possessing a Hypodermic Instrument and No/Inadequate plate lamp.

- Tony C. Engert, Age 29 of 1871 Norton Street, Rochester for (2) Counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd, Criminally using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree and (22) Counts of Criminally Possessing a Hypodermic Instrument.
Deputies said all three were processed and transported to the town of Friendship Court where they were each remanded to the Allegany County Jail on $75,000.00 cash bail or $150,000.00 Bond.  All suspects are to return to court on March 22nd, 2016 at 5 p.m. for additional court action.
