Buffalo man charged with selling heroin, cocaine in Wellsville
Wellsville Police Tuesday arrested Maurice J. Roberson, age 39 of Buffalo, charging him with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B Felony) and two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B Felony). Police allege that Roberson sold illegal narcotics (Heroin and Cocaine) in the Village of Wellsville. Roberson was located in the Buffalo area by the New York State Police Violent Felony Warrant team and transported to Wellsville. Roberson was arraigned before Wellsville Village Judge Jim Ames, and committed to the Allegany County Jail on $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 property bond. Roberson is due back in Wellsville Village Court on March 15th at 4:30 p.m. Wellsville Police were assisted by the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (C-Net), the New York State Police Violent Felony Warrant Team, the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the U.S. Marshal’s service.
