Buffalo man gets prison time in Allegany County grand larceny case

A Buffalo man who stole three credit cards from Caneadea in Allegany County is headed to state prison. In court Wednesday, Zachary J. Barrett, 27,  of Seabrook Street, pleaded guilty to a single count of felony grand larceny. Prosecutors said during a ten day period in 2013, Barrett racked up over $5,700 in charges without permission. The District Attorney's office also said Barrett was a no show in court four times, requiring a warrant and he was classified as a predicate felon. Judge Thomas Brown sentenced Barrett to 1 1/2 to 3 years in prison.
