Twenty-four year old Joe Robinson is a dichotomy.  A self-taught virtuoso guitarist acclaimed by many of the world’s great players, yet a contemplative and vulnerable singer and songwriter having deliberately slowed the dial on his career in recent years, searching for who he truly is.
Hailing from backwoods of Temagog, New South Wales, Australia, Robinson won the Australian National Songwriting Competition at age thirteen and went on to win numerous other major competitions including TV’s Australia’s Got Talent (2008), Senior Grand Champion Performer of the World (2009) in Los Angeles and also won the instrumental category in the same competition.  Joe was named “Best New Talent” in Guitar Player magazine’s 2010 Reader’s Poll.
Robinson’s fleet fingerpicking technique is dazzling — his bluesy licks go by in a blur and his harmonic savvy is apparent in every chord he plays.  He has released six albums to date and has toured extensively throughout the world.

“…it’s not hard to imagine him rivaling the popularity of, say, John Mayer in coming years.” -THE WASHINGTON POST

“Add powerful vocals to ingenious guitar riffs and you have the makings of a major star.” -REVERB

“Robinson’s gift for high-flying picking and his unerring melodic compass have opened doors all along Nashville’s famed Music Row.” -GUITAR PLAYER
