Leroy J. Clayson: Loving Father, grandfather, friend
Leroy J. Clayson, 64, of 607 Kinney Hollow Rd, Cuba, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at home after a lengthy battle with cancer. Born on December 29, 1951, in Olean he was a son of Elmer and Anna Belle Cartwright Clayson. He attended Cuba Central School. He worked for Mosler Inc. of Franklinville for many years prior to becoming ill.
He was an avid hunter, loved riding his motorcycle, and enjoyed spending time with his family and his canine companions Lola and Jack. Surviving are a son, Shawn (Rebekah) Clayson of Cuba; two daughters, Sara Demick of Cuba and Monica Barber of Cuba; His grandchildren; Anna, Macie, Aleah, Tristan, Garrett, Harrison, and Clayson; a brother, Doug (Rachel) Clayson of Weston Mills; a sister, Mary Searle of Cuba; several nieces and nephews and a lifetime of friends. He was predeceased by his parents.
Friends will be received at the Mark F. Rinker Funeral Home & Memorial Service, Inc., 9 Bull Street, Cuba on Friday, March 18, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. for a memorial visitation.
