Phillip Lee Tubbs, age 41 of Mills, Pa. passed away Mar. 19, 2016 the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born June 14, 1974 in Elkland, Pa. the son of Robbie Lee and Nancy McCaslin Tubbs. He was employed as an electrician at Dresser - Rand, Wellsville, NY., spending time with family and friends, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, cooking his famous secret barbecue chicken, hunting, fishing and the Buffalo Bills. Phil was a member of the Galeton Moose Riders, the Galeton Moose Lodge and attended First Baptist Church, Ulysses. He is survived by his wife - Lisa (McGonagle) Tubbs; his daughter - Bobby Jo Tubbs, Mills, PA; the family cat, Beyla; step-son - Damien Taft, Alabama; step-daughter and fiancé - Samantha Hess and Adam Hinthorne, Roanoke, Il; sisters - Tammy Tubbs, Selinsgrove, PA and Kathy (Daniel) Brown, Galeton, PA; paternal grandfather - Robert Baker, Roulette, PA and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a stepson Jacob Polston. Friends are invited to call at the Kenyon Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Elkland, Pa. Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. where a memorial service will be conducted following calling hours at 7:00 pm with Rev. Jason Reed, officiating.
