Wellsville man faces multiple felony drug counts

Wellsville Police Thursday arrested James D. Robinson, age 40, of Wellsville, charging him with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B Felony), two count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd (Class B Felony) and Resisting Arrest. The charges stem from ongoing investigations into narcotics trafficking conducted by Wellsville Police Department, The Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force and the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team. Robinson was arraigned in Wellsville Village Court and remanded to the Allegany County Jail In lieu of $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 property bond.  Robinson is due back in Wellsville Village Court on March 15th at 4:30 p.m.
