Allegany County 911 kept busy in March

The Allegany County 911 Center in Belmont handled a total of 2,535 calls in March 2016. Calls directed to state police road patrols dominated the calls for service at 628. 372 calls were directed to the Sheriff's Department, 204 to Wellsville police and 147 to Cuba officers.
On the fire side, dispatchers logged 213, with most calls for Bolivar at 21, followed by Wellsville at 19.
The 911 Center handled 588 calls for Emergency Medical Service. By far and away, the most calls went to Wellsville at 110, followed by Bolivar at 42 calls. The chart below represents calls between February 24 and March 20 -
