In Allegany County court Tuesday, Randy A. Cole, 34, of East Pearl Street in Wellsville was sentenced to five years in state prison. Cole pleaded guilty in February to felony burglary 2nd. Prosecutor Mike Finn said that on October 5, 2015, in Amity, Cole transported a homeowner to an appointment while a co-defendant entered the home and stole property. Cole was labeled a predicate felon by Judge Terry Parker and was also sentenced to serve five years post release supervision and ordered to make restitution in the amount of $42,643.
Also in court Tuesday, Jessie M. Kuhn, 24, of Bristol Street in Cuba, was sentenced to five years probation after pleading guilty to attempted burglary and making a false statement to authorities. Those crimes also occurred October 5, 2015 in Wellsville. Judge Parker also sentenced Kuhn to one year intermittent county jail time and restitution in the amount of $42,643.
