Andover man jailed without bail, faces 11 felony counts, more pending

As the result of a lengthy three year investigation into numerous burglaries, larcenies and other crimes in Allegany County, the Amity-based State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation this morning arrested Bradley J. Hollenbeck, 35 of Andover, NY, on the following charges: 
Burglary in the 2nd Degree (Class C Felony), Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree (Class D Felony) as the result of an investigation into a burglary that occurred in the Town of Alma in June of 2014. A resident reported that there was forced entry into his home and guns and ammunition were stolen.
 
Burglary in the 3rd Degree (Class D Felony) and Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree (Class E Felony) as the result of an investigation into a burglary of a business that occurred in the Town of Scio in December 2014. The owner reported there was forced entry into the store and money was stolen. As a result of the burglary there was damage done to the building.
 
Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree (2 cts, Class E Felony), Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd Degree (2 cts, Class D Felony) as the result of an investigation into the larceny from a business in the Town of Alfred in December of 2014. The resident reported that two guns were stolen from their store.
 
Burglary in the 2nd degree (Class C Felony) as the result of an investigation into a burglary that occurred in the Town of Ward in December 2014. A resident reported that their residence was illegally entered a numerous items were stolen.
 
Burglary in the 3rd degree (Class D Felony) as the result of an investigation into a burglary of a business in the Village of Andover in May of 2013.  The business owner reported that forced entry was made into their business and items stolen.
 
Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree (Class E Felony) as the result of an investigation into a vehicle that was damaged in the Town of Andover in May of 2013. 
 
State Police Investigator Scott Cicirello said Hollenbeck was processed at the Amity barracks on the charges and was arraigned in Allegany County Court by  Judge Tom Brown. Hollenbeck was remanded to the Allegany County Jail with no bail. He was directed to re-appear in Court on later dates. 
Investigator Cicirello said the investigation is continuing into other cases and that additional charges are pending. Anyone with any information regarding any crimes involving Hollenbeck are encouraged to contact SP Amity BCI at 585-268-9031.
Hollenbeck also faces numerous charges in unrelated criminal cases.
