Angelica driver in milk truck crash in Wyoming County

On April 16, 2016 at approximately 2:49 p.m., Wyoming County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a milk truck roll over with injuries on Route 78 near East Arcade Road in the Town of Java.  Deputies arrived on location and observed a milk truck on its side in a field.  The operator of the truck, Kerry Stephen, 51, of Angelica, was heading east on Route 78 when a car passed him and cut into his lane causing Stephens to move over to the shoulder and then caused his truck to go off the road, according to press release. Deputies were not able to find the uninvolved motor vehicle.  Stephens was treated at the scene by North Java Ambulance for minor injuries and signed off on medical treatment.  Deputies were assisted at the scene by North Java Fire and Rescue, Bliss Fire Department, Wyoming County Hazardous Materials Team, New York State Police, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Spill Response Team.  Investigation into this incident is still pending.
