Arcade crash involves injuries, charges

Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office Sergeant E.W. TAMOL along with the Arcade Fire Department were dispatched Thursday evening to the intersection of North Woods Road at Howe Road in the Town of Arcade for a two car motor vehicle accident with injuries.  It was determined that Jamie L. BARBER, 27, along with her 5 and 2 year old daughters were headed north on North Woods Road.  An eastbound vehicle on Howe Road operated by Robert L. STRESING Jr., 53, from the Town of Arcade, allegedly failed to yield to Barber after he stopped at the stop sign and proceeded across the intersection.  Jamie BARBER complained of neck pain and was transported by Arcade Ambulance to Bertrand-Chaffee Hospital.  BARBER’s two children were also transported to the same hospital for precautionary reasons.  The BARBER’s were later released from the hospital. STRESING was issued a ticket for Failure to Yield Right of Way- Stop Sign.  STRESING is to answer the above ticket in Arcade Town Court on 05/19/2016.  Arcade P.D. Officer YUHNKE assisted at the scene with Traffic Control.
