Belmont: Health Dept. enforcement action temporarily closes restaurant

An "enforcement action" by the Allegany County Health Department has led to the temporary closure of the Coffee Mill restaurant located on state route 19S in Belmont. Public Health Director Lori Ballengee told RNN the closure order was issued Wednesday April 13. According to Ballengee, the restaurant had been operating without a current permit since March and also had "some safety issues." The Coffee Mill is a popular eatery with a long history of service. Ballengee said that just as soon as the issues are corrected, her Department will "gladly" and promptly rescind the order.
