Cattaraugus County may award loan to new Olean restarauant and bar

Cattaraugus County lawmakers are considering loaning $75,000 to Grand Slam Grill in Olean. The interest bearing loan would have to be paid back in five years. Grand Slam Grill proposes a development and construction project for the creation of a 3,000 square foot, 60 seat restaurant and bar on West State Street. Three full-time and 30 part-time jobs would be created. The funding would come from the county’s economic development revolving loan fund program, using casino funds. Two legislative committees will discuss the plan on Wednesday.
