Fillmore woman gets deal, avoids jail in felony case

A Fillmore woman who used the debit card of another person without their permission has received probation and not jail time. In Allegany County court Wednesday morning, Jessica L. Goodenow of Botsford Hollow Road was sentenced to a single count of misdemeanor petit larceny and was sentenced to three years probation by Judge Thomas Brown. She entered her plea February 8th. Goodenow had been indicted on more serious charges to include grand larceny, identity theft and conspiracy. The alleged crime occurred December 20, 2014 in Hume.
