Medical Marijuana Bill Passes PA Senate Tuesday

The Pennsylvania senator Tuesday approved a medical marijuana bill. Senator Daylin Leach of Montgomery County was the driving force behind legislation that would authorize the use of medical marijuana in Pennsylvania. The state Senate approved Senate Bill 3 Tuesday on a strong bipartisan vote of 42-7.  The Senate-amended bill returns to the House of Representatives where it is expected to be approved on Wednesday and then sent to Gov. Wolf for his signature.
