New Hudson man arrested on Grand Jury indictment warrant

Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney reports that following a lengthy investigation regarding alleged illegal narcotics possession and sales of prescription pills in the Town of New Hudson, Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit Monday arrested Darryl H. Cline, age 52 of 8152 Geere Road in New Hudson. He was taken into custody on an Allegany County Grand Jury Indictment Warrant.  Cline was charged with (1) count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th Degree and (1) count of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree, both felonies. The arrest stems from an incident in which Cline allegedly sold illegal narcotics to an agent of the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit in the Town of New Hudson. Cline was processed and transported to Allegany County Court and remanded to the Allegany County Jail on $20,000.00 Cash Bail or $40,000.00 Insurance Company Bond.  Cline is to reappear in Allegany County Court on April 22nd, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. for additional court action.
