New Hudson woman arrested, jailed in pill-selling case

On April 21st, 2016, Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney reports that following a lengthy investigation regarding alleged illegal narcotics possession and sales of prescription pills in the Town of New Hudson, Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested Beverly A. Adams, age 57, of 6847 Crabb Hollow Road in New Hudson, on an Allegany County Grand Jury Indictment Warrant.  Adams was charged with (2) counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree and (2) counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd Degree, all class B felonies.
The arrest stems from incidents in which Adams sold illegal narcotics to an agent of the Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit in the Town of New Hudson.
Adams was processed and transported to Allegany County Court and remanded to the Allegany County Jail on $5,000.00 Cash Bail or $10,000.00 Insurance Bond.  Adams is to reappear in Allegany County Court on April 25th, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. for additional court action.
