Obituary: Marie A. Kinter, 87, formerly of Wellsville

Marie A. Kinter, 87, formerly of Ulysses, PA and Wellsville, NY, died Thursday, April 28, 2016 in Cuba Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit, Cuba, NY.
Born April 10, 1929, in Bingham Center, PA, she was the daughter of Claude C. and Mary M. Bunnell Young.
On August 6, 1948, in Ulysses, she married John E. Kinter, Jr., who predeceased her on March 31, 2004.
She was a member of the Mills Union Church.
Surviving are: two sons, C. Earl (Rosemary) Kinter of
Middlebury Center, PA and Charles (Penny) Kinter of Elkland, PA; two daughters, Inez Champagne of Ft. Smith, AR and Melissa (David) Walsh of Allentown, NY; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Jean Newbury of Ulysses; nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Kaye Kinter; two brothers, Joseph Young and Selden J. Young; and three sisters, Claudia Byerly, Ella Johnson, and Marion Empson; and a son-in-law, Jim Champagne.
Friends may call Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA, where Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. The Rev. Lowell Watkins will officiate. Burial will be in Ulysses Cemetery.
