PA: Tioga man badly hurt in vehicle crash

Pennsylvania State Police said a Tioga man was seriously injured in a one vehicle crash Friday evening on the Appalachian Thruway in Tioga Township. Troopers said an SUV being driven by Corey Wheatcraft, 34, went out of control and struck the guard rails. The vehicle then spun three times before coming to rest. Troopers said Wheatcraft was not wearing a seatbelt and was discovered in the vehicle cargo area. He sustained a suspected serious head injury, according to police. Wheatcraft was flown to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre. State police issued a ticket for "roadways laned for traffic."
