Perry man arrested twice

Wyoming County Sheriff's Office:
Cody N. Proefrock, 23 of Perry, was arrested twice following an incident on South Main Street in the village of Perry.  Proefrock, who was on probation for a conviction of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, was alleged to have fled on foot after being approached by his Wyoming County Probation Officer on South Main Street.  A warrant was issued later the same date for Proefrock for violation of probation.  On April 26, 2016 Proefrock was apprehended by Deputy Sampson and Deputy Asquith on Dale Road in the Town of Warsaw while at a friend’s residence.  Proefrock was arraigned on the violation of probation in the Village of Warsaw Court where he was held in lieu of $5,000.00 cash bail or $10,000.00 bond.  Later on April 26, 2016, Proefrock was charged in connection with fleeing on foot from his probation officer.  Proefrock was charged with Obstruction of Governmental Administration in the Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor, and he was scheduled to answer the charge in the Village of Perry Court on May 5, 2016.
