Public meeting planned for proposed bridge replacement in Angelica

The Allegany County Department of Public Works will conduct a Public Information Meeting to discuss the Camp Road (CR 43) over Angelica Creek Bridge Replacement project in the Town of Angelica.  The meeting will begin at 5:30 P.M. on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Grange Hall located at 59 Park Circle, Angelica, New York 14709.
The project will involve the replacement of the Camp Road Bridge.  The preferred alternative is to replace the existing bridge with a new structure that will carry two 10 foot travel lanes and two 5 foot shoulders.  The new bridge will be built on a similar alignment as the existing bridge.  During construction traffic will be maintained utilizing an off-site detour.
The project is being progressed as Project Identification Number (PIN 6754.70), by the Allegany County Department of Public Works, the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT), and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).  At present, the project is in the preliminary design phase.  Representatives from the Allegany County Department of Public Works, NYSDOT, and Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C. will be available at the meeting to answer questions and obtain comments on the proposed project from individuals, groups, officials and local agencies.

Questions regarding this meeting may be addressed to Mr. Guy James - Superintendent, Allegany County Department of Public Works (585) 268-9230.
