Steuben: 5 Arrested in High Speed Chase

Five Steuben County residents are facing charges after allegedly stealing a television from the Walmart in Sayre, Pennsylvania and leading police on a high speed chase to Elmira Tuesday night.  31-year-old Ricky Snyder and 35-year-old Ronald Synder, both of Corning, are accused of stealing the t.v., while 25-year-old Jarrod Lockwood of Painted Post, 34-year-old Courtney Bulkley of Corning, and 24-year-old Cicianca Failing of Savona waited outside.  The chase ended just before 11 p.m. when the driver, Ricky Snyder, jumped out of the moving car in Elmira.  Police tasered him during a foot chase, and arrested the four passengers.  Narcotics paraphernalia, a hypodermic needle, and the stolen tv were recovered from the vehicle.   All five are facing numerous charges.
