Steuben County: Road work planned for SR 415 in Campbell

Superstructure Replacement of SR 415 over Interstate 86
Town of Campbell, Steuben County
The New York State Department of Transportation today announced that beginning the week of April 18, 2016, state Route 415 over I-86 will be closed to replace the bridge’s concrete deck and make other repairs.  The project is located between Campbell and Cooper Plains on state Route 415. A signed detour will be in place guiding motorists around the closure.  The bridge is scheduled to reopen the end of September.  The construction contractor for this project is Economy Paving Co. of Cortland, NY.
It is imperative that motorists remember this season to drive carefully through the many highway and bridge construction zones they will encounter.
Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for work zone infractions.  In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of the driver’s license.
