Wellsville man heads to state prison in drug cases
A Wellsville man who sold and possessed drugs in the area for the last two years is headed to state prison. In Allegany County court Monday, Judge Terrance Parker sentenced Dana R. Beckhorn, 41, of state route 417, to a term of four years in state prison. Beckhorn will also serve two years post release supervision plus make restitution. According to District Attorney Keith Slep's office, Beckhorn sold Oxycodone to a Drug Task Force member in 2014 and possessed heroin and paraphernalia last September. All the crimes occurred in Wellsville, according to a press release from Slep.
