Wellsville Police Blotter

Date: Sunday April 17, 2016
Wellsville Police arrested an 18 year old Wellsville Youth, charging him with felony Criminal Mischief 3rd. The charge stems from an incident that took place on March 17th on North Main Street in the Village.  The youth was processed, issued an appearance ticket and released.  The youth is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on April 19th at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police arrested Dillon S. Ayers, age 20 of Wellsville, charging him with Harassment 2nd.  The charge stems from an incident that took place on Merriam Heights in the Village.  Ayers was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Judge O’Connor.  Ayers was released, and is due back in Wellsville Village Court on April 26th at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police arrested John F. Conklin, age 48 of Wellsville, charging him with Disorderly Conduct.  The charge stems from an incident that took place on South Main Street in the Village.  Conklin was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Judge O’Connor.  Conklin was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $250.00 cash bail.  Conklin is due back in Wellsville Village Court on April 26th at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police arrested Matthew J. Ballengee, age 29 of Wellsville, charging him with a Probation Violation.  Ballengee was processed and arraigned before acting Wellsville Village Judge Ames.  Ballengee was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $5,000.00 cash bail.  Ballengee is due back in Wellsville Village Court on April 19th at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police, acting on a Bench Warrant issued by the Wellsville Village Court, arrested Bradley C. Hackett, age 19 of Wellsville, for failure to appear in court on April 5, 2016.  Hackett was processed and arraigned before Wellsville Village Judge O’Connor.  Hackett was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $250.00 cash bail.  Hackett is due back in Wellsville Village Court on May 3rd at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police arrested Brittney L. Shaffer, age 23 of Belmont, charging her with Petit Larceny.  The charge stems from an incident that took place at Kmart in Wellsville. Shaffer was processed issued an appearance ticket and released.  Shaffer is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on May 3rd at 4:30 p.m.
