Wellsville Police Blotter

Wellsville Police arrested Justin M. Haynes, age 28 of Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Mischief 4th, Resisting Arrest and Harassment 2nd. The charges stem from an incident that took place on Scott Avenue in the Village.  Haynes was processed and arraigned before Town of Willing Judge Guiney. Haynes was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $1,000.00 cash bail.  Haynes is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on April 5th at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police arrested Joshua C. Cornelius, age 20 of Wellsville and Lynn R. Sherwood, age 26 of Andover following a traffic stop on West State Street in the Village.  Cornelius was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and No/Improperly Affixed Registration.  Sherwood was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. Cornelius and Sherwood were both processed, issued appearance tickets and released.  Cornelius and Sherwood are due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on April 12th at 5:00 p.m.

Wellsville Police arrested Kristi A. Williams, age 35 of Wellsville, charging her with Criminal Contempt 2nd.  The charge stems from an incident that took place on North Main Street on March 29th.  Williams was processed and released on an appearance ticket.  William is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on April 5th at 4:30 p.m.

Wellsville Police arrested Colten C. Beardsley, age 19 of Wellsville, charging him with Criminal Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument.  The charges stem from an incident that took place on South Main Street in the Village.  Beardsley was processed and arraigned before acting Wellsville Village Judge Ames.  Beardsley was committed to the Allegany County Jail on $1,000.00 cash bail.  Beardsley is due to appear in Wellsville Village Court on April 19th at 4:30 p.m.
