Hinsdale man charged in connection to a series of larcenies

Just before 7 a.m. Saturday, Cattaraugus County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man they say is connected to a series of larcenies in the county. Deputies said they saw Daniel T. Wilson, 39, was along route 16 near the Hinsdale American Legion. Deputies allege that Wilson had stolen property in his possession at the time. He was charged with petit larceny, possession of burglary tools and criminal possession of stolen property. Arraigned in court, Wilson was sent to the Cattaraugus County Jail on $15,000 cash bail.
Deputies, along with state police, continue to investigate larcenies from vehicles during the past week. Some property has been received, police said. The Sheriff's Offices appreciates the tips from the public in this case.
