Hornell woman charged with multiple felonies

A joint investigation by the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the N.Y.S. Dept. of Labor has resulted in the arrest of a Hornell women.  Colleen M. Flynn, age 50, of #1 Fairlawn Ave., Apt. #14, Hornell, N.Y., was charged with Grand Larceny, 3rd degree and Offering a False Instrument for Filing, 1st degree, class “D” & “E” felonies respectively.  State Police Senior Investigator Curt Eaton said during a period between 06/09/14 and 02/01/15, Flynn allegedly received $5,235.00 in Unemployment Insurance benefits that she was not entitled to.  Flynn was arraigned before Village of Bath Justice Chauncey Watches and released on her own recognizance.  She is scheduled to reappear in Village Court on 05/25/16 at 3:00 p.m.
