McKean County judge rejects change of venue in homicide case

A judge has denied a motion to move the Paul Morrisroe trial out of McKean County. The attorney defending the 40-year old man had claimed pretrial media coverage has made it impossible to seat an unbiased jury. The judge disagreed. Morrisroe faces more than a dozen charges including homicide by vehicle in the hit and run death last year of a Cyclone man. The trial is set to begin May 16th. A pre-trial conference will be held tomorrow (5/4/16).
