Marion H. Wilson, 80, of 2446 Genesee Mills Rd. North Bingham, Pa., died May 5, 2016 at Jones Memorial Hospital. She was born July 28, 1935, in Philadelphia, Pa., the daughter of Joseph and Katherine (Krynski) Helmar.
She attended school and lived most of her life, in the Fish Town section of Philadelphia, and also was later married Edward Wilson.
Marion was a former Bell Telephone Operator, later a housewife, spending 78 years of her life in Fish Town Philadelphia Area.
She was a talented artist, loved to take trips, enjoyed reading, and taking walks.
Marion was a former member of St. Ann's Senior Citizens and the Lutheran Settlement House of Philadelphia.
She is survived by a son, Edward Wilson of North Bingham, Pa., and a brother, Robert Helmar.
She was predeceased by her husband, parents and a sister, Katherine Donnarumma.
Friends and family will be received at the Howard's Funeral Home, 931 Maple Ave., Whitesville, N.Y. on Monday (May 9, 2016) from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held at the Genesee Catholic Church on Monday (May 9, 2016) at 5 p.m.
Interment will be at the North Bingham Cemetery Tuesday (May 10, 2016) at 10 a.m.
