Obituary: Robert L. Hooker, 74, Wellsville native

Robert L. Hooker, 74, of Williamsport died Thursday May 12, 2016 at his home.
Robert was born July 10, 1941 in Wellsville, NY a son of the late Kenneth S. and Barbara Ann (Common) Hooker.
Robert retired in 1992 as a purchasing agent for the former Stroehmann’s Bakery, Williamsport after 33 years of service.  He graduated from Bolivar High School, Class of 1959 and served in the national guard.  He enjoyed playing cards and pool with friends during his retirement.
Robert is survived by two sons, Robert S. “Scott”  (Jackie) Hooker, Williamsport and Jeff (Aileen) Hebner, Huntersville, NC; two daughters, Kristine N. (Kevin) McVannan, Daluca, GA and  Karen L. (Joe) Labianca, Lexington, KY;  15 grandchildren, Carlo, Caitlin, Alexander, Kulie, Madelyn, Beckylee, Trisha, Barbara, Michael, Cody, Brandon, Breanna, Emily, Elizabeth and Carrie, eight great-grandchildren and a sister, Patricia (Lanny) Nunn, Port Allegany.
Robert was preceded in death by a grandson, Scott T. Hooker and a brother, James Hooker.
Services will be at the convenience of the family and have been entrusted to the Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport.
