Perry Man Arrested by SP Geneseo for Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree

On May 7, 2016 at 9:24 p.m., State Police from the Geneseo barracks responded to Interstate Drive, Town of Avon, for a third party report of an argument.  During the investigation, it was alleged that Justin A. Putney, age 25, from the Town of Perry, was intoxicated and had damaged 7 vehicles at the nearby Genesee Valley Ford dealership.  Damage to the vehicles included vehicle parts being torn off as well as scratches and dents.  One of the damaged automobiles was a SUNY Police Department vehicle.  Putney was charged with Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree, a class D felony, and remanded to the Livingston County Jail during his arraignment.
