Deputies: Allegany County inmate violated protection order

Allegany County Sheriff Rick Whitney reports that on Tuesday, deputies were notified by the Corrections Division that an inmate, who is currently incarcerated at the Allegany County Jail on other charges, had allegedly violated a Temporary Order of Protection on numerous occasions, by contacting the protected party named in the Temporary Order of Protection.
Following an investigation, deputies then arrested Justin C. Holbrook, age 23 from Belmont, with three separate counts of Criminal Contempt in the First Degree and two (2) separate counts of Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree.
Holbrook was processed and then transported to the Town of Friendship Court where he was arraigned and committed to the Allegany County Jail on $10,000.00 Cash Bail or $20,000.00 Bond.  Holbrook will reappear in the Town of Amity Court on June 8th, 2016, for additional court action. The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Allegany County District Attorney’s Office for their assistance with this investigation.
