An arrest has been made in a deadly home invasion in Cattaraugus County that dates back nearly four years. Following a grand jury indictment, Sheriff Timothy Whitcomb said Thursday that deputies arrested 24-year-old Jaron Ruth of Buffalo. Ruth is accused of breaking into the route 417 home of 58-year-old Henry Ackley and killing the Great Valley man. Ruth has been charged with murder 2nd, robbery 1st and two counts of burglary. Ruth is currently serving a four year prison sentence for a felony weapons charge at the Orleans Correctional facility. Police allege that Ruth entered Ackley’s home in September 2012 and shot and killed the homeowner during a robbery. Ruth will be arraigned June 20th in Cattaraugus County court.
