The Park Circle Music Fest coincides with opening day of the Angelica Farmers’ Market, featuring local fruits, vegetables, eggs, meats, honey, cheese, baked goods, jams, nursery plants, flower bouquets, maple syrup, and natural body care products, plus live music performed in the Gazebo.
The festival had its start in 2015, the result of discussions between Festival Director Nancy Strelau and Angelicans Don and Karen Ash.  Mr. Ash said, “We had all agreed our picturesque Park Circle National Historic District would make a perfect setting for a music festival.  With Angelica Community Radio as primary sponsor, it has become a much-anticipated annual event.”  Mrs. Strelau said, “The Park Circle Music Fest is bringing together fine regional musicians from the Southern Tier, Buffalo and Rochester; a community that welcomes and appreciates the performing arts; and a beautiful historic district seemingly unaffected by the fast-paced cadence of modern life."
Mrs. Strelau is an Associate Professor on the faculty at Nazareth College in Rochester, NY where she also serves as Director of Orchestras, Strings Program Coordinator, and Auditions Coordinator among other responsibilities.  She is the Past President of the New York American String Teachers Assoc (ASTA) and a sought-after guest conductor.
Advance Tickets are available at the Angelica Sweet Shop, 44 W. Main in Angelica, NY. They can be purchased securely on-line on Angelica Community Radio’s website:, or from any WRAQ board member.
On Festival Day, tickets can be purchased at the Angelica Community Radio’s booth at the Angelica Farmers’ Market in Park Circle, or at the door of each venue.
