Tipping waives hearing in Potter County fatal heroin drug case

Potter County District Attorney Andy Watson says Desiree Tipping, 31, of Lewiston, PA waived a preliminary hearing Thursday. Watson said this morning that the case will now proceed with criminal conferences scheduled for August.
Tipping faces numerous felony counts for allegedly providing a lethal dose of heroin to Michael Langworthy while at the Galeton Minimart. Tipping has been housed at the Potter County Women's Center. If convicted, she could face up to forty years in prison.
