3 to face burglary charges at county level

From the Bradford Era
SMETHPORT — Three of five people charged in a Ceres Township burglary learned Monday they would face the charges at the county level. Charges against Dalton J. Green, 19, of Shinglehouse, were bound to McKean County Court before District Judge William Todd, while Skylar T. Manhart, 21, of Bolivar, N.Y., and Bryce K. Pedersen, 19, of Wellsville, N.Y., waived hearings. They join the two other codefendants — Jonathan L. Lananger, 22, and Zachary D. Foust, 23, both of Bolivar — who both waived hearings recently. All five face charges related to burglary, theft and receiving stolen property. The charges stem from allegations that diesel fuel had been siphoned from heavy equipment belonging to Ceres Township and $5,500 worth of items were stolen from a camp and box truck at a Ceres Township camp, according to court records. Lananger is free after posting $20,000 bail and Green is free after posting $50,000 bail, while Manhart, Pedersen and Foust remain incarcerated in McKean County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
